With support from Lumina Foundation for Education, EPI is developing a web-based institutional audit system to help postsecondary administrators and practitioners plan for student retention. The system, set for operation in late spring 2006, will push leadership teams to ask and answer important questions that lead to the development of an institutional plan for student retention.

To support the development of the audit system, EPI pulled together a group of experts from around the world in December 2004 in San Juan Puerto Rico. The audit system will be piloted with eight institutions of higher education across the US and Canada this spring.
